Choosing the right MTech setup
Start with the doors: how many guest rooms, what locks are on them now, and which back-of-house and exterior doors guests and staff use. New builds and full renovations can take new RFID locks throughout; hotels with sound doors and mechanical locks can often use the retrofit lock instead. Then decide whether to offer mobile keys, and which shared doors, such as the side entrance, pool, gym or parkade, a guest key should open. We plan it around your front desk, so check-in stays quick.
Moving an existing hotel to MTech
Most hotels change locks floor by floor so rooms stay sellable. We survey the doors, plan the order with your manager, install and program the locks, set up the front desk software and encoders, and train the desk team. If your current lock system is no longer supported, we plan the change so no room is ever left without a working lock.
