While you wait
Simple steps that can help, if it’s safe to do them.
If a door won’t lock, post someone at the door or secure it another way until we arrive. Don’t prop fire doors or block exits. If cameras are offline, check whether the recorder and network equipment have power, since a tripped breaker or a power outage is a common cause.
If an alarm keeps going off, contact your monitoring provider so they know it’s being handled. If you can, note any error messages, beeps or lights, as that helps us diagnose faster.
“HighTower Surveillance also got me out of a bind when I lost all my cameras due to changing a setting in the NVR. Luke responded immediately and got me back up and running quickly.”
Stuck with a system nobody will fix?
That’s fine. We regularly fix and take over systems installed by other companies, including regaining admin access.
