Choosing the right Hanwha Vision setup
Plan each camera by what it has to capture: faces at entrances, licence plates at gates and parkade ramps, or a wide view of a lot. Hanwha Vision makes models for each, including multi-sensor cameras that cut the number of mounts on a large building. Then choose where video records: a Wisenet recorder for a single site, Wisenet WAVE across several, or a Genetec or Milestone platform you already run. We plan the cameras, recording and PoE switches together, so every camera has the power and bandwidth it needs.
Adding Hanwha Vision to an existing system
Because Hanwha Vision cameras support ONVIF and integrate with major video platforms, they can often join a system you already run and replace older cameras one at a time as they fail. We check your recorder or software, reuse the cabling worth keeping, and replace the worst cameras first. If nobody has the admin login for a system you own, we help you get it back.

What is Wisenet WAVE?
Wisenet WAVE is Hanwha Vision’s video management software. It shows live and recorded video and lets you search and export clips across one site or many, from a desk or the mobile app.
Can Hanwha Vision cameras read licence plates?
Yes. Hanwha Vision makes cameras for licence plate recognition at gates, parkade ramps and service lanes. We plan the angle and lighting so plates are readable day and night, and put up clear camera signs in line with Alberta and BC privacy guidance.
Are Hanwha Vision cameras NDAA compliant?
Hanwha Vision publishes compliance information for its products, including NDAA. If your project needs compliant equipment, tell us and we’ll confirm it for every model we quote.
