Choosing the right HID setup
With HID, the key decisions are which readers and which credentials. Signo readers handle multiple card types and mobile credentials, which makes them a good long-term choice. Seos cards and fobs are encrypted and far harder to copy than older proximity fobs, and HID Mobile Access lets people use their phone instead. If you print photo ID badges, a FARGO printer lets you make them in-house.
Upgrading an existing HID system
Many buildings still use 125 kHz proximity fobs, which can be copied. A common upgrade is swapping in multi-technology HID readers, then moving everyone to encrypted Seos credentials over time, with no big switchover day.
