Enter each letter using the keypad letter chart, pressing * after each character (up to 15 characters, including spaces).

Press # to clear a mistake and start that name again. This works on the 1834, 1835 and 1837 only.
Change a phone number or name
- Phone number: repeat the add steps (*01) with the same directory code and the new number.
- Name: delete the name (below), then add it again with *66.
Remove a resident
- Phone number: press *01, your master code, the directory code and *, then ####### and *, then 0 and # together.
